ACC Senior Escort Program
Program Background
Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) hate incidents have been on the rise throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, local community groups formed the Sacramento Senior Safety Collaborative and created the Senior Escort Program to provide prevention services to a population that is more vulnerable to crime. This program serves seniors from all backgrounds and races. Volunteers ensure seniors’ safety while out in the community during walks and errands. Learn more by emailing sep@accsv.org.
