ACC Senior Services held its 2024 Programs Open House on November 13th showcasing programs and services that promote healthy aging and living independently. Over 250 people streamed into ACC’s community center to learn about ACC’s resources for older adults, family caregivers, and people with disabilities while enjoying delicious food, interactive presentations, and fun raffles. ACC’s Pocketpickers, a joyful, eclectic band of ACC volunteers that has been performing since 2009, closed out the evening with their uplifting beats. The open house helped to spread the word about ACC, “There is something for everyone at every stage of life, from volunteering and senior employment to caregiver resources, fitness classes, music, art, pickleball, mental health coaching, support groups, and more!”.
